TOP 3 // Young Adult Sci-Fi trilogies

There is never too much of a good thing! And what could be better than diving into a beautifully written adventure packed fantasy world? If you feel me on that one, then this post is definitely for you. I will be listing my favorite Young Adult Sci-fi trilogies from this year, which means thousands and thousands of pages of fantasy goodness. Here we go! 😄

MY TOP 3 YA Sci-Fi series

The Legend trilogy is about two prodigies – June, a privileged girl destined for great things and Day, a boy who is the most wanted criminal in the Republic. The allure of this series for me lies largely in the two main characters and their dialogue, which Marie Lu has created masterfully. Add some extra punch with an evil regime, hard sacrifices and there you have it – The Legend series.
#1 Legend #2 Prodigy #3 Champion

Birds don’t fly and the clouds are the wrong color. Juliette is an abomination in a world that is in chaos. Her touch is lethal, she needs to decide – will she be a monster or a warrior! Tahereh Mafi has truly captured the human beings inner fight of trying to be good. Her words and crossed out thoughts made me fall in love with this series. Combine that with tragic battles, unexpected plot twists and you will have a trilogy that will shatter, unravel and ignite you.
#1 Shatter Me #2 Unravel Me #3 Ignite Me

Clara has angel blood running through her veins. It makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans. It also means she has a purpose – something she was put on this earth to do. Cynthia Hand has managed to write a beautiful story that captures the joy of first love, the anguish of loss, and the confusion of becoming who you are. Her ability to combine the real and fantasy world is something I really miss now that the story has ended.
#1 Unearthly #2 Hallowed #3 Boundless

There you go, my top 3 from this year. Let me know in the comments, if you have or plan to read any of these. I would really like to know 🙂
